Orozco Family Shoot 6.21.14

We had the honor of taking family photos for Adriana and her family at the Fort Worth Stockyards. This family hasn't had family photos done in a long time and what better occasion than Adriana becoming a citizen a few days before the shoot. Very exciting time indeed!

In this shoot we wanted to show how happy and excited Adriana was for becoming a US citizen as well as show the love this family has for each other. There was a bunch of laughs, stories, and ideas shared during this shoot which made for some great memories. We even went out to have breakfast after the shoot and continued the fun, along with some football (soccer) stats!

There was a special moment during the morning where Adriana brought out some of the books that her father wrote during his life. She had recently acquired these books from her trip back home to Colombia. She was able to share these books and some passages with her children, with whom had never seen the books before this day. Adriana was very proud and humbled to be able to share some of her fathers past with her children and we were excited to be able to capture the moments.

Thanks Adriana, Heather, and Andrey for letting us take these pictures for you. We had a great morning getting to know you better and watching you guys interact with each other. Lots of laughs on this day and surely many more to come.

Why We Do What We Do...

People have asked us why we decided to start doing photography. Well it comes down to the fact that we love everything about photography and how it brings us joy. This is a project we do together for fun. We both have full-time jobs, this is something that we do on the side, but photography is one of our joint hobbies. Photography is a hobby that helps us unwind from our day to day workloads and gives us another thing that we enjoy to do as a team.

Our style of photography is very laid back because we are, of course, and we want our clients to simply enjoy themselves. We want you to have as much fun as we are taking the photos for you. Our main goal is to capture you and/or your loved ones enjoying yourselves and make sure that you are not feeling like statutes from being posed the whole session. There are lots of laughs, stories, new friends made, and experiences shared in the process. Being so busy with life, people tend to miss the sweet moments that are passing them by and being able to capture some of those moments for you has made this hobby of ours very fulfilling.

There is a lot of hard work involved but we try to even make that an enjoyable process. While Natalie is editing, working on the social media, or putting together marketing ideas Bobby is sitting next to her in the office. Mainly he is pulling up funny videos, music, or even photo shoot ideas on one of our other computer screens. Laughter and quality time is a must when you're working with your spouse. Natalie is very creative but over the years she has pushed allotting time for her projects, until now. She always made sure to take a ton of photos over the years on the many vacations and family trips we have taken, fueling her love for photography. Bobby dives straight in when it comes to photo shoots. He is fascinated with what he sees through the lens and is determined to make his vision for the shoots show up on the camera. The ambition and drive he has to get the shot right in the camera first is fun to watch, especially if he wore the wrong pants for the job that day! Our decision to photograph for others has given us the reminder to always carve out time for the creativity in our lives. The two of us together are a great photography team.

We do what we do for you and for us. We help you create and cherish memories for a lifetime, while having a fun bonding experience at the same time. The time and training for us are still commencing everyday and we get better with every shoot we do. All that matters at the end of the day is that everyone is happy!

Happy reading,

Natalie & Bobby
